Impact on Economy of September 11th
On September 11th 2001 a horrible tragedy happened, two aeroplanes were hijacked by terrorists and crushed into the towers of the World Trade Centre in New York. The buildings collapsed and thousands of citizens were awfully killed. This horrible tragedy had a great not only moral impact on the whole world but also brought consequences in different spheres of human life and activities. These terrifying events will never be forgotten and the consequences will be noticeable over years.
Additional to the tragic loss of life, economic consequences were felt by the micro-economy of Lower Manhattan New York, the US economy, and the global economy as a whole.
