The War of Wordcraft
I love to write. I hate being misunderstood. So I write, edit and revise. Actually, I perform quite a war dance on my keyboard as I create my posts. I use Microsoft Word 2000, an online dictionary, and Google. The dictionary and thesaurus in Word are pathetic, as are my outdated reference books of the same names. Thus, the online dictionary and the related thesaurus get a good workout as I try to avoid repetition, cliches and lifeless words.

Diaries – It's Not Just Bridget That Uses Them!
You resolve to stop smoking, drinking, overeating, being lazy etc. etc. on New Years Eve. You look at a gift from a friend, idly open it and find yourself staring at a beautiful diary. You resolve, to record your deeds and thoughts faithfully in the diary from the New Year onwards!
Time passes on... Another New Year approaches and you happen to look at the diary and the 360 blank pages it contains – What happened to your resolve. This is the fate of most diaries. They remain blank and so many trees were cut down to make them.
